“Tulgeen Group is delighted to present another new Director joining its Board” announced Gae Rheinberger, Chairperson.  “Janette Neilson O.A.M. is a Company Director from Bermagui with 40 years experience in the retail sector from 1994 to date, and the tourism sector 1976 to 2005.  Her business acumen and her strong social networks within the local community will be an asset to Tulgeen.”

She is currently Secretary to the Bega Valley Shire Business Forum which works to ensure information is disseminated throughout the Shire to all chambers of commerce and has been active in the Forum since 2000.

Janette is a  former Councillor of the Bega Valley Shire from 1995-2008, and was Deputy Mayor from 2005-2008.

In recognition for her long-standing services to the local community and local government, Janette received an Order of Australia Medal in 2014.

“I am hoping to be of some use in supporting the moves to embracing the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and in realising any and all opportunities arising to support Tulgeen” said Mrs Neilsen.

Tulgeen Group welcomes new Director, Grattan Smith to its Board.

Grattan is a senior executive at Bega Cheese with over 25 years of industry experience in logistics and supply chain including retail, manufacturing and third party logistics. Grattan’s varied roles have encompassed all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, sales and operations planning, production scheduling, logistics, import and export management. He joined Bega Cheese in 1997, is currently responsible for all supply chain activities across the Group and has been a member of the Executive team since 2010.

Grattan holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney and has completed a number of Executive development programs at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

“The opportunity to give back to the community and the strong relationship between Bega Cheese and Tulgeen Disability Services attracted me to the Board of Tulgeen Group” says Grattan.

“On behalf of the Directors, I am delighted to welcome Grattan to the Board” said Gae Rheinberger, Chair of the Board. ” Grattan’s strong commitment to our local area and his business experience will be invaluable to Tulgeen as the organisation transitions our services towards the National Disability Insurance Scheme.”
