New Tulgeen staff undertake PART™ Training

New Tulgeen recruits and existing Tulgeen staff due for refresher training undertook their Predict Assess Respond To (PART™) training over three days with Tulgeen’s in-house accredited PART™ trainer Paul Spiteri.

PART™ is a proactive response approach to the prevention and management of aggression in the workplace consistent with a positive support framework resulting in positive outcomes for all. (Formerly Professional Assault Response Training). PART™ is a 2 or 3 day workshop providing a comprehensive and systematic approach to the predicting, assessing and response to aggressive/challenging behaviour.

PART™ is one of a series of core competencies held by all Tulgeen Disability Support Workers which allows them to provide superior support to individuals with challenging behaviours whilst maintaining active WHS considerations in regard to the safety of the client, individual worker and team.

Congratulations to Megan Bartlett, Jacob Francis, Garnet Mullins, Brett Ritchie, Paul Kidd, Simon Szanto, Charlie Dadd and Ashlee Pearce for completing the three day training and obtaining and/or maintaining their PART™ competency.
