Tulgeen client, Graham escaped the Bega winter for a little while and went north for a weeks holiday. Graham loved Darwin and had the best time seeing the sites of the Top End, not to mention the fish and chips!

Check out the photos- what a smile!! Some highlights of his holiday were a billabong cruise, touring Litchfield National Park and a visit to a wildlife park where Graham patted a crocodile!!!

We are so glad to have you back in one piece Graham

Tulgeen’s Art in the Garage

We had a wonderful morning tea with our artists from Tulgeen’s Art in the Garage project recently.

CEO Jen Russell presented all artists with a portfolio of their paintings and drawings and paid tribute to their efforts. Well done everybody!

Here at Tulgeen, we acknowledge and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples this, and every week.

Tulgeen’s Pauline visits Patsy Cline Tribute Show

Pauline was in heaven when she attended the Patsy Cline Tribute Show in Merimbula with her friend Marie the other day.

Pauline tapped her feet, swayed to the music and sang along.

After every song Pauline would exclaim “she’s got a good voice hasn’t she” or “she’s a good singer”.

Pauline particularly liked Patsy’s red cowboy boots and a couple of the dresses she wore, like the emerald green satin evening dress and a sequenced sky blue number.

This is another way that Tulgeen enables a good life.

Postcards exhibit at Spiral Gallery- a must see.

It was standing room only for the opening of the ‘Postcards’ exhibit at Bega’s Spiral Gallery on Friday night.

Congratulations to all the artists from Tulgeen who took part in the exhibition.

Craig, Emily, Gavin, Graeme, Graham, Jeffery, Jennifer, Joy, Miriam, Mitch, Robbie, Sarah, Stephen and Taylor have been working hard for weeks in preparation.

Their work looks FANTASTIC and is a real credit to them. We are not the only ones to think so! Many postcards had a red spot on them at the end of the evening indicating ‘SOLD’.

As well, our very own Miriam Kydd won second prize for her postcard series. Miriam was delighted to win a voucher from Carbon Copy in Pambula.

Many thanks to Spiral Gallery, the exhibit organisers and sponsors like Carbon Copy.

If you have a chance, check out the exhibit at Spiral Gallery 47 Church St Bega.
