Services Offered by Tulgeen

tpvAs a flexible and responsive service, Tulgeen offers a high level of individualised support for individuals, their families, advocates and/or carers. Our professional staff meet with you to understand your life goals and aspirations and discuss the support options available to you in order for you to meet achieve these. At all times, your health, safety and wellbeing underpin our service offering.

Tulgeen is Third Party Verified by independent external auditors selected by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services to ensure that our organisation meets the National Disability Service Standards.

We are an approved provider of disability services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme which is active in South Eastern NSW from 1 July 2016.


All members of our professional cross-disciplinary team hold as a minimum the following credentials and clearances:

  • Certificate in Disability, Community Services and/or Aged Care;
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current and Clear Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Manual Handling
  • Current Drivers’ Licence

Additionally, many of our team also have the following:

  • Predict, Assess and Respond To (PART) Challenging Behaviours
  • Fire Training
  • A range of competencies- epilepsy management, PEG feed, stoma care, diabetes foot care and much more.

All Tulgeen staff are covered by the following insurance:

  • Workers Compensation
  • Public Liability
  • Professional Indemnity

At present, Tulgeen offers a range of home, centre-based, community and workplace based services as well as home-based or centre-based based respite support. Click on the links below to learn more about how we can support you.

INSYNC – centre or community-based programmes to keep you active, creative and social.

Respite support– 24/7 respite support and care in your home or at our fully equipped centre.

Accessible Community Transport– sharing our fleet of accessible vehicles with or without a driver.

Supported Employment through our Social and Disability Enterprises within the following workplaces –

All funding packages are welcome as are new and/or transitioning participants to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
